Save The Roy Vue

I oppose the proposed redevelopment of this property. It is s beautiful example of a disappearing building type; destroying the courtyard would be a shame.

I would be in favor of preserving the façade and 5x'ing the # of units IF they were subsidized with housing vouchers for those who need affordable housing.

I spent a month living in this beautiful building. It should be preserved!

There’s enough new developments and too few historical spaces in this neighborhood.. let’s keep the heart of the Hill alive.

As an architect buildings like these can be repurposed and still save their importance. Responsible development should be of the most paramount in historical areas.

Having a peaceful environment is invaluable. Leave these residents be. Preserve the Roy Vue and its courtyard as it is.

The Roy Vue is a beautiful, historic building with long term tenants who contribute to the community and city. Micro units are outrageously expensive and house mostly short term tech workers. This destroys the neighborhood, doesn’t add to it. I would happily support this building being demoed for Housing First Units, or anything that supports low income folks to stay in the neighborhood, but not this.

Keep this part of Seattle history. It's important to all of our history.

Ruining a historic building and creating more micro apartments for profit is deplorable.
