We need this public house. Last one for miles, till you get over snake pass.
We do not need any more house's.
Love sitting outside the Royal Oak, when we have been on a long walk round our beautiful country side.

It's too easy to say it has to make way for new houses. We must keep our historic buildings because it's our heritage!

Every community needs its triumvirate,Church,Corner shop and Pub.There was a time recently when our pub had gone to the dogs with bad landlords. The community suffered. We now have good landlords, the pub and the communtiy are thriving and and communicating with each other. It is an integral part of British life.

The Glossop area is being strangled by people who want to make a lot of money at the expense of inhabitants.

Protect our history, when it's gone, we lose it for future generations, it's important to the integrity of a Pennine township, building boxes on a historical site should be outlawed.

This building has been here for many years and Boonta and Christopher Sidebottom have worked so hard to make the pub work and have been extremely successful that is also their home and they have 2 lovely children Noy and Andrew they would be made homeless and without work and the building is part of glossop history which would be such a shame if it was turned into apartments so I don't want to see the building getting knocked down after all there is absolutely nothing wrong with the building anyway!!!
