Don't demolish the head frame it ls a great piece of history to Yellowknife. It is also a landmark for people who get lost on the lakes, Bush an an in the air. Giant MI e and terminal Mines head frame are still standing so why should the Robinson's head frame be torn down. As a kid I grew up in Con an I love known man people who worked at Con mine. I stand be for me and a bunch of other people who agree with me on how this should remain a historic land mark and piece of heritage to Yellowknife.

Not only is this a unique landmark on a relgtively flat, rocky landscape, it's also a worthy reminder of Yellowknife's gold-mining past (and potential future): in the words of a bard, "Yellowknife, where the gold is paved with streets"

As this is a safety landmark for snowmobilers and boaters I would like to see it remain standing. Seriously?? Bike lanes and trash cans are less necessary than people's safety. There are more boaters and snowmobilers in town than there are bikers.

Great Cominco Mining History and part of Yellowknife's early beginning. Also a directional landmark for travellers on land, water and in the air.

I believe as someone who grew up in Yellowknife that this is a part of Yellowknife's iconography that would be a terrible loss if demolished.

This is a significant landmark and symbol of Yellowknife's mining heritage. It is also a very interesting structure. It is 243 ft 6 inches tall housing a Colby type hoist over a shaft that is 6100ft deep. One of the deepest, maybe the deepest in Canada. It's important to me as I helped build it.st

Have part of it used as a museum (and memorial) for the mining industry in Yellowknife.
