The Robertson Headframe is a significant historical site that demonstrates why Yellowknife was established. Following the City of Yellowknife's thinking, the Leaning Tower of Pisa would have been demolished!

Yellowknife continues to be attached to mining. A number of miners lived, worked and raised their families here. Let's not forget these families nor the gold that was mined here. The Robertson Headframe stands for this - let's remember.

I am a former Yellowknifer and a northern worker. I would like to see the headframe saved and for the city to better recognize the impact of mining on the community.

So am I the only one offended by the advertising of the freemasons on that poster???? Can people take off their horse blinders and do something about this joke of a.town, or is everyone just like to take it from behind???

I waz born and raised on YK. There's only a few buildings left in YK that showed it was a gold mine...The Robertson Headframe is one of them. DO NOT tear it down!!
