Must be out of your mind to even think about closing the most popular pub in the area. Why close a pub that is busy every single day?! Madness. We need more Wetherspoon pubs that sell great food and drinks at real prices, not more overly expensive poncy wine bars!

Don`t close the Regent-
There will be lots of very unhappy people if it closes.It Must be making money -it is the best pub in the area and is always busy.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to your customers and not the beancounters

Please do NOT sell The Regent, keep it as a Wetherspoons pub as loads of people regularly use it and do not have another close by.

I am very sad to hear the regent will be closing, I have visited many times over the years and have enjoyed the food, I've been there for xmas dinner one year and think it's awful that it will be closing.
I hope they will find a buyer who will keep it open.

OMG why close this pub? It was bad enough when you closed the Cap in Hand in Hook but this is disastrous. you are interested in having busy vibrant and well run pubs aren't you? It really does not look like it any longer.
