Class of 2009 I can't speak for everyone when I say this but I'm sure most will agree when I see Raider pride is a tradition in this town that should not be changed. Why all of the sudden is this an issue is my biggest argument? To be honest if there is a logo or mascot change I would be deeply disappointed in our school systems and would have a hard time donating to any future change as it is clear the school systems aren't focused enough on fixing the academics and instead are attempting to ruin proud tradition of this town. Make the right decision here and keep the tradition of the Raider mascot.

There are more serious issues to tend to in school systems rather than the mascot. We keep changing things because someone's offended, someone will always be offended by something. Lets focus on education not a caricature.

Really? Is it possible, that this logo makes us appreciate Native Americans for what they endured? Keep the logo and teach the youth more about respect .

Class of 2011 graduate! I was one of the very few multi-team varsity managers at WHS, proudly serving the Football, Basketball, and Baseball teams during my tenure. If the Raider goes so does thousands of 4 year high school memories. Save the Raider!!

People are to afraid we are offending the very culture that runs through our blood. I choose to honor them.

Why take away a piece of history? People should be proud to have an Indian as a mascot for any school or team. They are apart of our heritage weather we like it or not. I am an American Indian from Massachusetts, part Mohican and part Cherokee. The Red Raider is part of that Mohican heritage which is from the New England states. The idiots that want to remove history of this country needs to go back to the country they are from and quit trying to change this one.
