Some trucks use this route to avoid the weigh bridges. I don't agree that they should be using this route at all, unless it's retail related, which is usally in daylight hours. They race through Velddrif at night and nothing has a chance if it dares to get in front of them. The night noise level is sometime continuous and very disruptive to sleep. The residents and daily commuters sit with the delays and inconvenience from the resultant road infrastructure damage.

The truck driving is totally out of control. They need to be relocated. They should be taking the back roads of Piketberg and Velddrif. Enough is Enough!!

I often drive this road, with my dearly beloved family and granddaughter. Goetverwacht turn off is potentially a high accident zone. The turn off at PPC is also dangerous. Some of the trucks overtaking dangerous! Had to brake an get off the road before and onto sand. If I am forced off the road by a reckless driver as an emergency that must've been a criminal offender. This must stop. please!

There should be a permanent speed trap in place for these trucks
The main road through Dwarskersbos should also be regulated from the use of trucks over the load capacity of 5 tons

Too many accidants happened the past few months due to the trucks. Please let them use the other routes also for infrastructure damage .

There is a problem with these trucks on the R399. Most accidents occur due to driver tiredness. In UK HGV drivers are only allowed to drive for curtain hours before they have to take a break by law. This law isn't in force in South Africa.

The road was fixed in 2014 and now it s falling appart again because of these trucks. They drive like pigs. They drive in convoys so that you cannot pass them. Rediculous. On one day 400 trucks pass through on this road. Rediculous
