This building is beautiful. It breaks my heart to think of it being torn down. There must be something more we can do with that area than more industrial warehouses!

One of the things I love about Portland is a committment to preserving the history. I have lived in a lot of other places that would rather bulldoze it down and build a strip mall or condos that have no soul or character.

If the structure its self really is not contaminated lets work to save it. What a beautiful landmark! I would hate to see it go as so many of our landmarks do.
