NW natural needs to be accountable, demolishing the building doesn't cure any problem they've sited with the land or structure.

In Europe buildings with historical significance are sometimes saved from the wrecking ball, but not renovated. They're purposely left to decay in public sight as a reminder of their role in history, such as WWII related structures. This may be the best possible scenario for a building like Gasco that has so many strikes against it, but shouldn't be destroyed.
