First the pastures then the rest is taken bit by bit. Remember without this center and it's heritage, there would not even be a school !!!!! This center has turned out lots of great students that have made great strides. This center has not only served the Animal Science program but has touched students in many different majors and field of studies.

Everything inch of land doesn't have to be developed for big business, housing and industrical applications. People need beautiful scenery in their lives as well. This pasture area is also essential for agricultural education. Please see that it is preserved as it is for future generations.

I am an alumni that understands the schools need for improvement. But taking away an integral part of the agricultural program, a program that is the foundation of the school and still what it is known for, will not help the students learn by doing. 480 beds and a dining hall are not justification when the population is over 20,000. You are tearing out the heart of the school for less than .1%of the population. There are so many other options for the school to expand, please do not follow through with the decision to build on the pastures.
