Please save this last bit of this area's rural history and landscape. Having grown up in the area when it was almost rural, I can attest to its value in my life. Days spent visiting all the livestock were always memorable and to take it away from future generations of children would just be criminal. We need to save this land now more than ever, since the area is now covered in houses and currently being developed into the scar of yet another ugly industrial area that the City of Industry is turning their hills into. It also will add to the strain caused by the drought in California because the area will need to be landscaped and the residents will use more water that the state does not currently have.

Please save this land. Having grown up in the area from 1965 on, when the only things around there were Mt. SAC and Collegewood housinbgwas it would be a shame to lose this vital oasisfrom the developmental glut that has been going on for the past forty-five years.

The campus was giving to us with the request that we always keep horses! that mean giving them their own space and not confining them as if they were in prison

I am all for having more (affordable) living spaces on campus so we can be less of a commuter campus. This will require less parking structures, which saves land - and can be used to keep the Arabian Horses. BUT taking the land from the Arabian Horses should NOT be the solution! It is NOT a less expensive solution. The equestrian land is PRICELESS.

Turning our schools valuable resources into money-farming wastes of space is not something the school should even consider. Cal poly does not need more dorms, it needs more educational resources.

How about repurposing the Village that so few students want to live in that we have to offer it up to Mt. SAC and Devry students??
