Removing the pastures is a detrimental to Cal Poly Pomona's learn by doing legacy. Removal of this land is a violation of the provision that our herd of Arabian horses would be maintained.

I am a CPP alum & I was on the riding team briefly when I attended. CPP started with Kelogg's Arabians & it's what makes the school special out of the others. Please be respectful of the spirit of the school & do not deprive the horses of land. Find another way to comfortably house students.

I hope the administration will realize how valuable programs like these are. Programs - like the CP equestrian program - teach discipline, responsibility and patience as well as create confidence for those who are part of it. Learning isn't something that's just found in classrooms. Some of my best learning happened in a pasture, cleaning a stall or when caring for my horse.

keep the land free from development in the manner that the college was created. it's what make Cal Poly so special for AG students and the people of So. California. Don't take away from the horses and students what Mr. Kellogg gave to them.
