As an alumni of Cal Poly, I am sadden by the impending loss of the lands and space for the livestock. The are innocent animals that still need the college to survive.

I grew up in Collegewood and loved going there as a kid. I'm now in my 50's and still go there to enjoy the land and watch all the beautiful livestock! Please don't turn this into another parking lot or building we don't need!!!

Our daughters grew up in the Collegewood section of Walnut. We spent many a Sunday at Cal Poly watching the Arabian horses put through their paces. It would be a shame to further restrict this program just to pour some more concrete and pave over more agricultural land.

I'm a Cal Poly alumini, B.S. Chemical Engineering 1980. I also grew up in Collegewood, right next to Cal Poly. The University NEEDS to preserve these lands. Agriculture is a huge part of Cal Poly's educational mission.

Walnut & Cal Poly hold a special place in my heart for living there from 1962-1975. Keep the open green spaces for everyone! Resist commercial, cement growth for profits.......

I grew up in Collegewood across the street from MSAC in the 60's and 70's. I loved growing up in our "almost" rural area. Part of that included driving on Temple Ave and watching the animals in their pens, seeing how Cal Poly utilized the agricultural areas and pastures. Walnut has lost its charm from that era and I would hate to see Cal Poly cement over the pastures and agricultural land that is fast disappearing in Southern California. Take a stand and don't let those lands be developed!!
