I stand for the historical purposes. The Character of that building speaks volumes to down town Dahlonega.

Please save the Parks bldg!! I was born in a Dahlonega doctors office on April 5, 1955! I have taken my child and grandchildren to Dahlonega to show them that same building I was born in and we talk about all the historical buildings there around the square!!! Please allow someone to renovate and create something wonderful to add to the already "olden times" atmosphere!!!

This is one of the oldest buildings in town. We need to preserve our history! I am a direct descendant of Woodrow Parks, and I would love for them to preserve it.

The historic charm/intent is part of why we have come to Dahlonega for over 23 years. It is a big part of the reason, along with the people, that we are anticipating moving to the area when our youngest graduates next year.

If we're not going to save our historic buildings then we have to STOP advertising our town as "Historic" Dahlonega, bulldoze all the trees on both sides of 400, build our own mall, and turn into 'Little Dawsonville'. Madeleine Anthony would be ashamed of us.
