Sandy and her committee have been the most responsive people since I bought my house. They continued to do what they do best and always addressed my concerns. We live here for 17 years and couldn't be happier with the water saving etc.

I thought I signed this a few days ago but I do not see my name on the list, so I'm doing it again. Ellen

Phase V needs Sandy, why on earth would we drop the landscape committee. We demand the names of the board members who decided on this rediculous notion and why. Please explain. Bob Wolfe and Carey May

We also chose to purchase in Phase V because of the landscaping and proposed new paint colors. The Committee members put in a lot of unpaid time to make sure the property looks great.

The landscape committee is a major asset for our community. This issue has come up only because one board member wants to be the landscape chair and will do anything to discredit the existing very successful team. That board member has limited skills compared to our current committee members and is only here 6 months of the year, so not available in the most critical summer months.

Landscape committee under Sandy Comrie's stewardship has added value to Park Vista. Why on earth would we consider disbanding same. I want answers from those individual board members who are endorsing this idea. tko

I have worked as a side kick with Sandy for a few years and though I am biased I think this would be a very big mistake . No,one works harder than she does on behalf of all of us to keep our property looking so good and now that we do look so good we want to stay that way. It would not take long to go back to the old way of a neglected phase....

Sandy has done a fabulous job and has worked diligently in keeping our HOA one of the best in MHCC. Why on earth would a three person board which consisted of Bob Wolfe, Bill Reid and JoAnn eliminate this committee and all the time and effort that Sandy has put forth. I smell a ruse and I am not comfortable with it. Who do I call when I have a broken sprinkler head like two days ago and it was repaired the next day? This is what Sandy is all about. Those three people will never get my vote again.

There is no reason to discontinue the landscape committee. I was in aware of this, and am totally opposed to your decision..Sandy Comrie works far beyond anyone else for our homeowners, and totally accommodates the needs of all of us. She works very hard. I would like to know the reasons behind this decision.

We have had a landscape committee for the 15 years I have owned my home, first led by LaRae Petrovich and now Sandy Comrie. I recall LaRae made tremendous strides in helping keep the property colorful in the summer when things looked like a dusty wasteland, and Sandy led the renovation to more water-wise desert landscape. The work of the committee does not stop when we finish big projects. It continues every day when sprinklers are broken, plants die, trees need to be trimmed, fire ants need to be eliminated, and grass seed needs to be ordered. It is the only committee that has tangible, visible accomplishments. To take away this free resource and hand over the administration of landscape requests to PPM makes no sense. Who would be more responsive--our own committee volunteers or PPM? When was the last time you saw anyone from PPM walking our property? How quickly does PPM return your call? What is the Board thinking? Who advocated for this decision? Our governing documents call out specific procedures for the formation of the committee because it is a critical component of the Association’s responsibilities and it’s our single biggest expenditure. I’m signing to support the Committee and to keep enhancing the property.

I am shocked that the Board would disband the landscape committee. We are the original owners of our home and never has the landscaping looked better. This seems short sighted and ill advised. I would be interested to know which Board members took this action as I will not support them in the future.

Absolutely shameful if the committee was disbanded in a closed Executive meeting without explanation. Committee should continue to operate.

Our landscaping is what distinguishes Park Vista from other neighborhoods.

Without Sandy and her hard work....this phase would look like S--T.
