This Farmers Market is a vital part of the community. Surely there can be a compromise reached that worlds for both sides.

A very positive and friendly environment to purchase fresh produce straight from farmers. Pass the word for all to sign this petition.

The farmers market has been contributes to those who live in the Sunset in term of quality of community cohesiveness and supporting small businesses. SI can do their part to support the community they lare housed in. Many of their students are from families outside of SF county, the famlies attending the events at SI can make a small sacrifice for the 10 days they attend events at SI.

I perform at this market once a month and it’s a real shame that a private Catholic school doesn’t want it to operate anymore! I thought Jesus said we should love our neighbors as ourselves.

We come from mid-Peninsula to this wonderful Market and always find a surprising range of unique, high quality, healthy and delicious food & goods. Losing this market would be a great loss not only to the outer Sunset neighborhood, but to our region.

St. Ignatius is playing the school yard bully right now. Their school takes up 2 city blocks with plenty of room to go around.
In addition, the market IS NOT "extending" itself into Rivera St, as SI falsely claims.

I love the mercantile and what it has brought to our outer sunset community. It’s a truly positive force for the entire public. Please don’t allow private interests to take that away.

I hope we get this thing renewed! It’d be a shame to minimize the market/cancel all together. I appreciate the value it brings to the outer sunset!

I was educated by Jesuits, and the actions taken so far have been so dissonant from my upbringing. I was taught to be a person for others, and having to be mildly inconvenienced to park a few blocks further on a Sunday should have been a no-brainer. Why is a proud place of community, nourishment and livelihood being treated as a blight that needs to go away so there can be more parking?
pls keep this amazing farmers market
