Please keep the farmers market open! It’s my only social interaction during the weekend and I buy all my produce there.

My husband and I live in the outer sunset and the farmers market has brought so much to the community. Access to fresh produce and other unique and diverse foods. Opportunity to support farmers and makers and a place to gather as a community. This is market is a vital part of the outer sunset and should be renewed their permit.

That the school wants this closed on weekends when there’s no class, because of the one off chance that parents at their school will need closer parking one day of the month, is ridiculous, elitist, and against building community with the surrounding neighborhood.

This market has created a community in Outer Sunset at the height of the pandemic. We need to show appreciation of what they’ve done.

The market is for the whole outer sunset community 3000+. This market is one of the best ran markets in so many ways they do an excellent job on every level. Bringing community together is the most paramount thing that we as people can do. The children that attend the farmers market learn community and will have fond memories of community this is far more important and valuable to people than any other type of education. The road is a public funded space and are for the public that pay for them. The private school is private for a small privileged group. Unbelievably selfish. They should privately fund a private parking garage or shuttle in for their few events. Does the city have a vacant unused lot that can be used for parking?

This market is a special new part of our community that is open and free to all to attend. It brings food, jobs and community gathering and connecting. This space should continue to provide so much more than a parking lot for the privileged few that go to SI.
