The Outer Sunset Farmers Market & Mercantile is in Jeopardy!

This weekly market is important to this community in myriad ways. Please renew the permit with none of these limits--we need regular, reliable access to the food, community, and services this market provides. SI should be a better neighbor and SUPPORT not INHIBIT this vital resource.

Just because they have money doesn’t give SI the right to steamroll the farmer’s market. They’re just bullies who are out of touch with the community.

The Farmers Market is an essential service to the community Do not let a private and expensive private school overrule the Farmers Market’s access to essential space.

The community needs this farmers market. It’s a place for the community to gather and support small business

In the farmers market, my kids and I have found so much community togetherness and connection, and expressions of love, creativity and kindness through difficult times.

Keep the market!!

This farmer’s market is a vital community resource. Please leave it to operate as it has been. It has and continues to be a happy place since the pandemic began, offering delicious food, goods, and human connections.

The OSFMM is amazing and let’s keep it going every weekend without any closures or consolidations.

Being able to attend the farmers market has allowed me to connect with friends and family since it’s outdoors and spacious. I’ve also been able to support small business especially trying new foods. I hope the hours aren’t reduced and a resolution can be met by everyone involved.

This farmers’ market is a gift to the community.

I love the Sunset Mercantile and the community will be at a significant loss without it. The Sunset Mercantile offers healthy food, a safe and fun space for families, a venue for local artists, farmers and small businesses to connect with the community and a place to feel at home in a big city. Please don’t close this thriving and deeply loved hub of the Sunset.

No! It is an amazing addition to the neighborhood, of which SI is a part!

This farmers market is a weekend staple for my family, both for produce and prepared food items. Without it, our nearest farmers market requires a 15m train ride. We just walk with our young son to this one, and it's an integral part of our weekend. Please don't take this away from the neighborhood!

Please keep this amazing neighborhood market open. This has become a daily Sunday activity for my family and many others and would be very saddened to see this go away.

The outer sunset farmers market is such a boon for families, we try to go every week!

Please don't shut down the farmers market me and my family enjoy it. We come from San Bruno to walk around and buy food from the vendors.

Please extend the Market's permit - while I have respect for S.I. (many family members were students there) they do NOT need 24/7 access to the parking in front of their building. But San Franciscans do need this community space

This market is great for the entire sunset community! As a sunset resident, I urge the city to grant the permit and allow this market to continue operation.
