We are so fortunate to have bald eagles wintering on Onondaga Lake. They are another reason to LOVE Syracuse and its surrounding natural environment. Please help to keep them here!

Please let's respect the Eagles who have made their homes here. They are such a wonder. Consider rerouting the trail for human pedestrians,

This is just not right. The land is a toxic waste dump and does not need to be developed. I want to know who's going to enforce the Federal Laws protecting the Eagles?

A walking path is great, having the National bird hang out in the winter is even greater! ! Please do not allow the path to interfere with these majestic birds!

Don’t reverse this progress we have made with the Bald Eagles

What a shame and travesty it would be to have renewed the most polluted lake in the country so that Bald Eagles - the nation's symbol - came back to nest here ... only to have a human pedestrian path reverse this wonderful environmental triumph!

There is enough walking spaces. We do not need to destroy more habitats!!

We need to save this important area for the bald eagles, a trail through this area is not needed.

Recently, Bald Eagles have been seen on the shores of Onondaga Lake in the winter, a true sign that the lake is becoming more healthy. They should not be disturbed while there, using what little ice-free water there is to fish during our harsh winter. Change the route of the path please.

It would certainly be best to locate any trail away from the area where the bald eagles are. Presumably the trail could be kept away from the shoreline on Murphy's Island.
