This is an important roosting area for Bald Eagles in the winter. They need a some room to feel secure.

Let us not be repeat offenders in the harm we bring to the ecosystem encompassing Onondaga Lake. Let us re-write the future of Onondaga Lake.

The Bald Eagles will not tolerate human presence. There is absolutely no need to locate the Loop-the-Lake Trail on Murphy's Island. The presence of these eagles should be celebrated - build an observation tower at a respectable distance away, appreciate and promote their presence. There is a lot of community interest in the eagles -do not disturb them; not plowing the trail will not keep people off of it - the trail DOES NOT belong anywhere near roosting eagles.

Please do not endanger the roosting areas of Bald Eagles. We are fortunate to have them here and we have many options for trails.

Please do not complete this trail, there are enough of them around for people to enjoy, especially in an area that has bad winters where the trails can't be used all year. Leave this alone, it's not worth the money and just screws up the environment more.

Please don't do anything that would interfere with the Eagle's wintering habitat and don't fund such an abomination!
