This is our community's building and we should be the ones deciding on its future. We want to keep it as a community resource that benefits the whole community.

We have a beautiful building in the old Courthouse. We have an exceptional art collection in the Howard Hinton Collection. - the best collection outside a major city, here in Australia. There is not the space to show more than a few of the 1300 or so paintings at any one time, in NERAM. Why can't we combine the two? What a tourist attraction and what a boost to the city centre!

As a relative newcomer to this city I am appalled that such a beautiful heritage building has not been listed as such. Australia has little enough historical builsings andit would be a pity to see some disgraceful 'new' building be put in its place as seems to be the real estate mentality in this state.

Appalling lack of foresight by the Baird Government. This iconic building should remain in public hands. It has so much tourism potential.

The Armidale Courthouse has great potential, because of its location, heritage value, and fine architecture, to be an asset to Armidale's community and the tourist economy.

We have a Troupe of Actors in Armidale with an intellectual and sometimes physical disability. The courthouse has easy access, is centrally located and would enable interchange with generic theatre groups who would consistently use the venue. We currently "borrow" venues from other groups for our rehearsals and performances.

The court house is a link to the past and future of Armidale. Absolutely nothing modern or new can replace a piece of the town's precious history. Incorporate change but don't destroy something irreplaceable. Developers must face the challenge and embrace keeping the Armidale courthouse!!!!!
