First and foremost, CRMC should do what is best for the environment. As a lover of the Ocean Mist and other local businesses, I would love to see them all thrive in the long-term. Whether this is due to revival of a historical wall or the construction of a new one, I hope that petitioners properly educate themselves about the cause and effect of each option.

ocean mist has been a place to let loose, relax, have fun and enjoy the beautiful scenery for a long time. my father lived in matunuck when he was my age, and i currently live there now, and have to admit its one of my favorite spots, night or day. please lets keep this for as long as we can!

Seems to me the existing seawall has been doing the job, and it will be repaired with private money, freeing up taxpayer dollars for other projects. That's a no-brainer.

Without the Ocean Mist I would literally never go to Matunuck. We rent a house at Matunuck sometimes just to be walking distance to it. Rhode Island citizens would be making a huge mistake to ignore it.
