I am a 20 year old girl who has grown up at roy carpenters beach and i have been pretty much waiting my whole life to go to the mist for a "ticket tuesday". But in the past couple of years it has a been a fear of mine that the mist won't even make it to my birthday. Not only will building this wall ruin the ocean mist, I also believe it will change the whole area of matunuck, that everyone in the area would not want to change one thing about it. I know that beach erosion is real and the it will change the are on its own, but if a wall is built then there won't even be a beach left to protect.
