most unique places have been lost in newport, nantucket, block island the mist is definately unique and sgould be protected

I believe rebuilding the existing sea wall in an attempt to save and not destroy these landmarks makes sense -- Thi area has been a mainstay for affordable family recreation for generations. While the impact of global warming may mean that eventually this landmark does get destroyed, we may still get many years of enjoyment from it. And since the Ocean Mist is willing to incur the cost, the state of RI is not going to have to pay for it.
When we vacation in RI, we always go to Ocean Mist. Great music, great people, great times!!

the mist is everything i remember about growing up in RI. my first beer, my first friends, my first live music and some damn great eats. what even IS matunuck without the mist?! the mist is an institution. PLEASE don't become florida and start tearing down everything and anything when there is an alternative solution. don't sell your soul south kingstown.
