The Northern Berks police need to stay were they are.I never new when we had a medical emergency and Northern Berks Police officers were in my house in 20 seconds.I new then this is who I want protection from.Why didn't we the residents here about this.Guess we have to attend those meetings to keep them here.

I’ve lived in various townships in PA, like Bucks, Montgomery, etc. and I’ve got to say, sadly, this is probably the worst one ever. When we moved here 15 years ago, they assessed our houses at 100%, not 80% like it should be. We found out that we could go and fight it, only during August to September and you had to keep the appointment no matter what. Then they had the audacity to freely admit they basically stole money from us and when I asked about when I will receive my refund for the overpriced assessment, they said your new taxes will be xxx next year. No refund, just next year, and adjusted rate, but no refund. This is the definition of a criminal action, fraud, and theft. This is and was cause for a civil lawsuit.
