I want a local police force!!!!
Charter requires Commission does what is in best interests of the citizens in the 3 townships to be served jointly.
All meetings to be advertised in compliance with 65 PS Section 261
Page 10. The withdrawing townships take with it the equipment, materials, etc that represent in value their proportion of the value to the total. The withdrawing party must pay for appraisal of assets.
There are withdrawal rules AND dissolution rules. Certified letter must be sent by the withdrawing party 1 yr before Nov 1 of the yr in which such withdrawal is to be effective. Dissolution requires 2/3 vote.
Costs are assessed to the withdrawing party.
