They have helped me more then once in my years living here. They have families and mortgages too. We have lost too much this year (my husband) don’t want to loose something else beneficiary to our township and life.

This police department has come into my life on several occasions and I’ve known one officer from her for many years. My grandparents were scammed out of a couple thousand dollars. These fine men in blue were there to help, I remember a pretty nasty car accident at 61&73 that involved my grandparents as well. Semi ran the red light slammed into their car and threw it across the highway. Again they were there. Put the politics aside and keep these officers in the capacity they currently are in, because we never know when they will be needed. I stand with these men and hope the commission changes direction

Makes no sense to disband a well functioning department that was created to save money and provide good service to all areas. The goals were successfully met and the safety of the residents of Northern Berks should not be jeopardized by disbanding the department

The disbanding of the Northern Berks Police is a HUGE mistake and I truly hope this decision is revisited and reversed.

The choice to disband the police department should be voted on by the community or at least comments heard before a vote was taken.

Getting rid of the police force is the stupidest thing you could do. What if it your house is broken into and since you got rid of your local police you have to wait 20min or more for someone to come protect you. U would be dead by then. Keep the police

The reliability of our officers to answer to our calls is second to none. Responsible governing with what voters gave us is what we have to work with... but, we need to think and consider the best for our residents, not us personally. We have an obligation, if not a requirement t by law to protect our citizens! NBRPD meets that goal!
