The music venue is an existing condition and was there prior to the hotel. Hotel should be responsible if the venue is doing everything legally.

We are supposed to be the music Capitol. If this happens we become the Hotel enabling Capitol. They knew where they decided to operate. The fact that this is even to be petioned is sad. Keep Austin Real

I think it is ridiculous and completely unfair that a new business wants to sanction an existing business for something that was noted beforehand. If westin's builders over promissed that the building and rooms could be sound proofed then I think they are the ones responsible for this current issue not the business that was already there that from what I understand have followed all the rules, have all their documents and permits in order and were courteous enough to give this information to the Westin hotel chain before they even began their contruction. Not fair. Shame on you Westin!

They are flllowing all laws that have been established. No way a big corporation should be able to bully around a venue that follows the rules even before they built the hotel

If you buy property amd build something directly behind a music venue then you should expect music......especially in Austin.

Austin is quickly losing its identity due to Corporations such as the Westin. One would think they chose their location to be in close poximity to the cool vibe and live music venues that Austin offers as a convenience to their guests. Yet, they choose to shut it down? Did they not conduct proper due diligence and market research? I am a frequent gliobal traveller and will be sure to never stay in a Westin property again if this ridiculous lawsuit continues!

How stupid can you be to rent a building right next to a music venue, then be surprised there is music. Stop letting stupid people get away with stupid things
