Please make a law that protects Live Music and the Entertainment District in Austin. It is why people move here, and if you come downtown you should expect to hear music.

We are losing the soul of Austin....Historic 6th Street. There will come a point where there is nothing to do for the folks that come to Austin to hear music. It's time for the City of Austin to stand up and help rebuild 6th street. It's negatively impacting tourism, convention business, etc.

It's the Westin owners' fault here. If they had done their due diligence and installed better acoustic insulation they'd be fine. Don't move into a downtown business and entertainment district and expect it to change because you're upset about the noise outside of your building.

Should have thought of that before you built a hotel on 6th.

SAVE THE NOOK!!! Austin with its wonderful eclectic music and musicians is the saving grace of Texas. The bar was here long before the hotel, the hotel should have realized building where it did that there would be loud music, thus including this into their building plans.

Westin's poor planning, poorly-built hotel and cancerous relationship with the music district should not be tolerated.

It's ridiculous that the need even arose for this petition. The actions of taken by the Westin's representatives are completely out of line.
