I've had some of best times dancing like a madman in this place. It's so fun and the employees and owners are amazing people. Save the Nook!

Moving into a neighborhood with live music, knowing that it is there, and then complaining about it afterwards is completely absurd. If the noise were a concern, they should have located elsewhere. It is like building a house near the airport and then complaining about the noise of the jet engines. Ridiculous, and a baseless complaint as far as I am concerned.

Protect Austin and the small business culture it is so famous for. White Lodging does not need the money.

The Westin wanted to move into the center of Austin's nightlife-they could have moved further away from the entertainment district. They have had everything handed to them with blocking lanes for "valet" parking to erecting the monster in the heart of the entertainment district. This is what is sucking the soul out of our city.

How does it make sense to build a hotel next to a music venue and be surprised of the loud music? Westin, just get your PR team to sell the banging bass as a bonus feature of your rooms and get over it.

Westin has made their bed and now they must lay in it. Austin is Austin because of our music not luxury hotel and spas! We dont need them, then need us.
