Music was here first. That's the whole reason they opened their business and advertised it.

The nook was already there when the Westin started building its hotel

They shouldn't be allowed to move right into the live music scene to promote being close to the live music... just to sue for there being live music.

Live music was there first! Build your hotel elsewhere next time. You picked your location knowing full well there were clubs around.

HOW DARE THE WESTIN TRY TO TAKE A PIECE OF HOME this is absolutely wrong considering the nook operates within city ordinance.

I am an Austin resident and have enjoyed the live music scene, including live djs. I am horrified that the Westin thinks it's in its power to sue a venue that was there before the Westin was even built. This is an unethical lawsuit and venues such as the Nook need to be protected from corporations such as the Westin. Local venues like the Nook make Austin great, not unethical corporations that sue local businesses frivolously.

Outrageous ! The downtown Entertainment District has been there much longer than the Westin Hotel. If they didn't want music they shouldn't have built downtown in the story.

That this hotel thinks it can bully a small venue off of the entertainment district is shameful. The Westin should be kicked out of Austin entirely.

I've stayed at the Westin specifically because of the music close by. It's a non issue. Not to mention the music was there well before the hotel. Suck it up.
