Save the No.16 bus service

I use this bus often to go to Iffley Road, Magdalen Road and Cowley Centre from Abingdon Road, & hope you can replace it.

Bus services are already subsidized in Oxford and are often taken off route. Make the companies contribute to the communities they make their already large profits from.

This route is essential, connecting the Abingdon Road, South Oxford area to Cowley Centre and Minchery Farm. Taking two buses each way is too expensive Ann's time consuming.

This is an essential service to connnect Littlemore, Cowley Centre and South Oxford. It is important for getting to work, shops and doctors. Please keep it going!

Absolutely ridiculous how many people will this effect, not just elderly but kids getting to schools who have no choice where there sent

This bus service has been threatened before, and saved before. It's a valuable service, and deserves financial support from local govt.

The 16 gives a great, useful, direct, quick service to places that would take much longer, and with a change of bus. Ig has to he saved!

There's a lot of seniors relying on this service. Taxis are an expensive option for many of us for doctors appointments.

Please save the No 16 as I use it 2 or 3 times a week for shopping see my daughter and sometimes going to the dentist and the vets. I know many elderly people who use this bus.

I am concerned for older residents of Florence Park (where I live)

I haven't used this service more than a fee times in last two years as due to risk of infection I have cycled rather than taken bus but I find this bus an extremely useful link to cowley center for shopping, dentist and vets, Donnington Bridge health Centre, the end of medow Lane to visit people, the top of Abingdon Road for a short cut to Kennington, shopping at go outdoors and visiting folk, and Centre of town for other. I often used this bus to go to multiple places in one day or evening that would have taken to long if I hadn't been able to 'cut across town'. While an extended 5 would be nice and the 3a goes close to some of the stops botb of those alone won't be enough as a suitable replacement. If numbers are lower on the 16 than other services then I suspect its due to the fact that for along time it wasn't reliable as it arrived late, often very late frequently and so younger, fit folk like myself would simply walk to bus stop on alternate route, or just walk, full stop but if your ill you need to have direct bus to doctors & if pet is ill they are too heavy to carry on foot to vets so need the bus. Just improve reliability and probably get better custom. If 16 taken away anyway then we'll need that bus that briefly existed that will take you anywhere but needed to be booked like a taxi - however a bus that is only catchable useing Internet is exclusive to some in society so not a fair option as only source if PUBLIC transport.

This is an essential bus route for our communities.

Littlemore doesn’t have the best of bus service let alone take another away

Please save the 16. There are no other buses that run on Florence Park Road or Cornwallis Road.

We need this bus service.. we are out of the way in Littlemore.. the community is full of Elderly that relies on this service.. it’s a main root to shops and doctors.. and the only transport they can Rely on .. if you take it away.. They are all stranded

Please take note of the needs of the very many free OAP passengers not just those who are paying direct.
