Save the No.16 bus service

Loads of local residents depend on this bus service from various age groups to lose this bus service would cause distress to all

Lots of people use Donnington Dr's and won't be able to get there if this bus no longer goes down Iffley Rd

If we want to create liveable streets for a better Oxford for all residents then it is essential we retain and improve public transport such as local bus services.

We know quite a few people round our area long lane / Bodley road who can’t walk to far and used this bus to go to Cowley shops to meet friends or go shopping and some who go to d doctors or f park area who find it hard if they didn’t have the number 16 bus

This route links me from Florence Park to Hinksey pool and Abingdon Road Services south to Abingdon and Didcot and North on the 300 bus. It cuts down my car use a huge amount.

The 16 bus service is needed to support the older community who will not be able to walk to Oxford road to pickup the 3A

I lived in minchery all my life I need that bus route to get work I have to catch 2 buses my job in Radley so need Abingdon

I remember responding to the consultation on bus services in favour of rationalising services where there was frequent duplication (1/3/5 for example) but this cut means the removal of a service that has no alternative or practical replacement. It is already difficult enough to travel across Oxford (e.g. Botley to Summertown, Cowley to Marston) please do not 'rationalise' by cutting services that do allow travel to areas other than the city centre.

We need our bus…

Please continue the 16 bus service to ensure all the elderly and venerable people get to the doctors and shops . This service is also used regularly for care workers at isis care home

We need our local bus, and there is so many elderly people that use this bus to get to their local doctors surgery (donning ton health centre)

It is important bus service for mums , people who doesn't drive or elderly !!!

Save our bus! There is definitely still a need for a service that goes from Littlemore to Florence Park, meaning that we need to keep the 16 service. This is made all the more necessary because Cornwallis Rd is now and LTN so cannot be accessed easily by car. The residents of Littlemore do not have a GP or Pharmacy, so the service to Donnington Health Centre is still needed by many of our community. Making this change as we are finally coming out of lockdown is illogical. Nationwide all bus services will have been quieter for months due to work from home and other covid related restrictions. To get people back to work and back to schools, bus services are needed. Now is not the time to cut services. By assuming that everyone can walk to access the proposed alternative routes (offered by the City Bus Company) is ableist and doesn’t consider the mobility needs of some of the most vulnerable people in the OX4 Littlemore community. Please save our bus!

For the elderly who need to get to donnington health centre this bus is there life line

we need to keep our bus service, if you have no car, how do you get down to the drs surgery at donnington health center, ?? KEEP OR BUS.

Again it seems Littlemore and minchery farm are the forgotten part of oxford, cut us of from surrounding areas because of the LTNS now we won't have a proper bus service so feel even more isolated.

Please don’t strand the elderly, the poor and young families.
