Save the Newton Brave

This is not a symbol of racism. It signifies to me bravery and strength. If this is a symbol of racism, where were all these offended people years ago. To take away the Brave will erase the heritage of our school. This cancel culture is getting out of control.

Enough with the madness. This is not Newton Strong!! We are better than this

Save the mascot. This is ridiculous. Your actually degrading when you take these down or change the names.

The brave is a sign of strength and means alot to our community with our past hardships would be a disgrace to have it taken away.

I hope this never gets taken down.

You can not cater to everyone’s likes and wants. In today’s world when you can’t give them what they want they claim they’re “offended”. Stop changing everything and enabling these types of people. If they don’t like it they can move and find another school with a blank slate mascot so nobody’s feelings get butt hurt. Grow up!

My husband graduated from Newton, changing the name of any school mascot or professional team is ridiculous

This is not a racist symbol but honorable symbol showing part of Native American cultural history.

Please do not change. The brave stands for bravery . This is not disrespectable .

The brave has nothing to do with racism. Keep this mascot that is a long standing sign on the high school building. And everybody knows us as the Newton Braves!

It hae been newton braves for ever and no one was offended then. These snowflakes need to bury there heads in the sand

This logo is in no way racist. It presents an image of a fierce warrior, not an image that degrades.
