The symbol of a brave is not negative nor derogatory. The brave is an honorable symbol. Many businesses, organizations are making changes without looking at real facts. Stop making emotional decisions and check your facts. When you look at the name, there should be no doubt the honor of the name.

Removing a symbol that represents strength and bravery to our children and community is only showing weakness!! We need to stand strong and not succumb to those that are uneducated to the real meaning of - Brave!

There's no need to change so much. Brave Indians were once prolific in this area. Keep the school symbol, it tells a story and represents the Brave past of people who lived!

Growing up with this mascot in school always made me look up to the brave. The brave was at an enlightened status and we were working towards that! As a child and then young adult in high school I never looked at this in a negative or racist way. This is extremely sad.
