I graduated from Napa High School in 1944 and am a PROUD INDIAN. I have always supported the Napa High School sports and music departments. Ed Barwick The Voice of the Indians 1972 - 2012

I did not attend Napa High School. This has been Napa High School's Mascot for years and years. Keep a symbol that has strength, integrity, and loyality.

Look at the logo- it is a proud, strong native American- Napa High honors the valley's first residents.

Just the money that changing would cost is reason enough to keep the Indian.

The name "Indian" used in this context is NOT degrading. The use of the words "Indian" or "Indians" by any team is NOT degrading. What is degrading is the name of the NFL's Washington team-- ie; the "Redskins"!

Class of 1999! The Napa Indians are are huge part of our town. The Indian mascot is not doing anything to diminish the Native American presence in the United States. We should see it as a celebration.
