Napa Indian Foever! Myself, my father, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews have all gone to Napa high we all have nothing but honor and pride for the Indian Mascot. Please don't change a 120 years of tradition when we could spend money on more worthy things towards education!

The is a big topic all over this small town. And even vintage alumni say keep the mascot. I haven't heard anyone say it needs to go the majority wants to keep it. It is a symbol of pride and respect. Let's spend the money on the programs that need it... for instance the band boosters have to raise 65k per year to fund the program.

I learned in High School about our mascot and with pride love that we were memorializing the local tribe by being the Napa Indians. And to think that that memory is wanting to get wiped away upsets me.

This is in support of not changing the mascot / someone is super overly sensitive. Anybody can find SOMETHING that is offensive. This is tradition and respectful / not offensive.

The napa high school mascot is a historical icon. We have generations including myself who have graduated from Napa high in my family. The term "indians" is not offensive but instead is a tribute to the tribe that came before us.
Please keep the Napa High Indians name.
