I am Napa High Class 1975. I respectfully request you save the Name and Symbol of our beloved Tradition, the Native Napa Indian. 4 of my Siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family members from as far back as 1950 attended Napa High and participated in all areas of the school. My siblings names are written on the Gym walls honored athletes list. All 3 of my children attended and graduated from this prestigious school. Please preserve our History.

We need to continue the tradition of honoring Indian contributions to our valley rather than see "Indians" as derogatory. How will the next generations explain this? Unacceptable.
