The Napa Valley was inhabited by Bative American Indians long ago. That history and heritage has been buried by the commercial evolution in the valkey. This is one of the last bastions. Shame on you if you let it slip away.

Keep it as it should be. It has been a symbol of this great school.

Being an Indian should be something to be proud of, not to be ashamed of. Native Americans have roamed this land longer than anyone else has.

Save the Indian name and mascot. It was always a source of pride and strength. That meeting should never have been closed, and the school board needs to explain why that happened.class of 61

The use of the term and image of the Indian is meant to be a tribute to a proud culture. It is not a derogatory term nor is it ever used in a mocking way.

This task force should not have met behind closed doors. I am not in favor of this change.

Keep the Indian I was raised in Napa and went to Napa High as did my Mother before me. Never was there a problem with the Indian as a Mascot for 120 years. What arrogance for whomever has the idea to change it.
