Class of 1989 Napa Indian and proud of it. Stop all this politically correct stuff. I am part American Indian as well and this is just ridiculous. No matter what you think to change it to someone will have a problem with it. Stop being bullied.

What has happened to us as a people that we have become so thin skinned and take everything as a personal insult??? There is no disrespect meant by this symbol. Let's not waste precious funds on this unnecessary move!

The NHS Indian Mascot has always been honored and respected-don't let a small out of town group erase NHS's proud heritage!

I have Native American blood, my grandmother was born on the reservation, and many family members. We are NOT offended by the Indian mascot. It has always been an honor and symbol of respect and heritage! Keep the mascot!!

I can't stand how schools and colleges both have changed their mascots over pressure from a few. Do you really think they would name their mascot "Indian" if they meant it as an insult?

If the Board decides to do away with our sacred mascot then Napa High should have NO MASCOT. I will always be a Napa High Indian and proud of it.

Please keep the Indian!! It is a symbol of honor. Don't let a few malcontents ruin something for so many thousands of people.
