Being a decentered of a American Indian, I feel having our likeness honored as Napa High Mascot for the past 120 years makes me feel proud to be one of its defenders. And yes I did attend Napa High back in 1964 and 65.

there is no need to change the mascot. It isn't offending anyone other than the folks that like to complain and have no clue.

Vintage crusher but you need to save the Napa Indian name. I am Native American and do NOT find it offensive. If they want you to jump off a bridge will you do that too??

I graduated 1975 from Vintage High but I had brothers & Sisters that went to Napa High

I believe that our Indians are truely being honored by our team name !! Please leave it alone it is our Napa heritage and as a Native Napan we proudly call our Team Indians after all they made and named it Napa to begin with !!!

This is absolutely absurd. The fact the school district is even considering spending a dime on this issue is infuriating. The money should be put back into the school system.

The present mascot is a tribute to the Napa Indians as well as ALL the thousands of students that have attended Napa High School..... JUst leave that wonderful heritage alone!!!!

Class of 89, father class of 69, mother class of 71, uncle class of 66 , 72, aunt class of 76. We are all proud to call ourselves Napa Indians. Along with our children we ARE Napa. Stop this at once we all honor our warrior pride.
