I am a Paw Paw Redskin in Michigan. We just fought a hard and long battle brought on by some radical outsiders. Please stand up and fight these people off. They are being paid to disrupt your community. Don't them destroy your name, logo or mascot. They are not fighting for the normal Native American and most of them are representing civil liberties and the NAACP. Let us together keep was is sacred to us. Please do not give in. Stand Strong as we did. This is a Nation wide battle we must win.

This is being pushed by people who make a living going around the country creating controversy about mascots that have been around for decades, trying to force a community to change their school mascot to something of THEIR choosing... Something like mosquitos or banana slugs.

The example that American Indian tribespeople set for how and why to live our lives is a timeless one that our children should be nurtured with. Misguided ideologues think that by censoring over 100 years of pride and tradition they are going to help Native peoples today but not only will it deprive a community of their traditions but it actually hurts the American Indian community. Please keep the name and logo for the Napa Indians.

There is nothing demeaning about the word Indian! Have we lost common sense? Why are we rewriting history? Don't give in to a small minority of agitators. We were proud to be the Napa Indians! Don,t give in! It's these kinds of stupid decisions that made Trump win the Presidency. Stop it now!!!
