Save the Mustard Seed Tiny House from being evicted!

I truly believe in the tinyhouse movement, I really want one for myself in the future. But to see what this family is going through is disheartening.....to finally to be able to get back on your feet & to turn around have the wind knocked out of you just because. The fact that tinyhouses are not new to the world, especially this country( just watch the DIY or FIY channels some time^-^). For a county or state for that matter to do this,is it just because they haven't figured out a way to make money off of them(Tiny House Community's). I want them to succeed & in doing so in the future so will I.

So, there are 20 acres on the property, and this little 400sq foot dwelling is somehow a monumental issue? so much of an issue, that the Town of Ripon feels it's conscionable to evict them without even attempting to come to some resolution? is it a tax issue or revenue issue that's driving this ridiculous decision? I think it's tragic that a family of 4 can't park their tiny little home on their friend's 20 acres of property and enjoy some peace and quiet without being harrassed, evicted, threatened, and bullied. Shameful Ripon. You could have taken this opportunity to embrace the evolution that is coming and been a leader. In the meantime, these people need an extension to help them sort out what their next option is without rendering them homeless.

Your tiny house is lovely and you deserve to live in peace.

In a society that is consumed with more, bigger, and wastefulness, I think it is a shame that these people who are being resourceful and leaving a smaller footprint in the world are being punished. As a fellow Wisconsin citizen, I really hope they are allowed to stay.

I feel if they are not breaking any laws nor housing codes leave them alone. People have to live how and what's affordable for them who is anyone to say different, only they know and that's all that matters. There other things that need to be more concerned about,like finding ways to help the homeless, wounded vets, making jobs more available , more affordable living etc.God bless you and others that are fighting this fight to live tiny.

This city don't care about the people only that they aren't getting money from it. This world starting with ripon need to get back to basics that Is love, compassion, and caring. To help out others when in need. Stop the greed.

..... exactly, if you are not hurting anyone you have not broken any laws. Besides what some city bureaucrats are doing are not very CheeseHead friendly at all. Besides the the owner of the land can apply for a zoning change blah blah blah
