Revisit the ordinance. Why was it written? Are they paying there share of property taxes, school taxes, other? If so, let them stay. It's definitely not and eye sore, which I'm sure you could find elsewhere in Ripon.

Please take into consideration that these people are leaving a smaller carbon footprint by having less stuff. There's tons of benefits from living smaller.

I think they should be able to keep living in that tiny house. Absolutely nothing wrong with that at all...

I think instead of evicting the family, and since the tiny house movement is new, the city council should try to sit down and talk about solutions, before removing a family from a home. Yes I understand that they are in violation, but this is a situation that needs to be solved without fines and sending a family put on the curb. Good luck.

Please allow these people to do this. They are not the first that need to live a different lifestyle due to our economy. Just the first you have seen.

Zoning laws are in place for reasons yet should laow for make-sense flexibility. This property is large enough to accommodate an additional living structure without detriment.

I think on that size of property something could be done to allow this home. There will be many more coming in the future and allowing this one with some new regulations will be able to make the community grow.

An opportunity is presented here to use common sense and compassion to resolve a political, financial and technical issue. This circumstance resolved fairly and cooperatively also gives Ripon Wi a chance to set the standard for fairness.
