This would be real loss for the City!!! It is important to preserve the History of Saratoga!!! Please reconsider finding another place for offices....

Whether 'historical' or not, isn't it time to place more emphasis on the arts and benefits this has to the youth of Saratoga. There are few buildings left with space for music and dance. Everyone is in a hurry to build more offices, expand for retail space, and so on. Saratoga was once known for its focus on the arts and should continue to preserve that reputation.

Don't destroy our beautiful music hall! It's a piece of our culture past and present!

Why destroy another place where young adults can socialize and have a good night . Then we wonder why they are always on their phones . Please save the hall for all age groups.

Currently living in Ireland I made some of the most fond memories in this hall when living in the USA. I believe it would be wrong to take away this chance from future generations. SAVE THE HALL!

Would be said to lose such a great local venue! No where else to put the new courtroom?! I'm not familiar with the building layout as far as the court goes but I understand the new for the second judge and courtroom yet I'd hate to see our town lose this great place!!

I fail to see the purpose of closing the Music Hall and turning it into more offices and a courtroom. There has to be another location for those offices and courtroom, rather than closing a historic area.

Best non-club dance venue in Saratoga springs. Don't get rid of it

There on not many spaces like this left in Saratoga. The Diamond Dance is an important part of the Swing Community and should remain that way!

Taking away the music hall is heartless. There are plenty of other locations that meet the needs of installing court spaces. Do not destroy a piece of history simply because you do not understand nor appreciate it! History is history and without it we would not be where we are today.

So many people of all ages join together at the Music Hall every month for the Diamond Dance. It's such a beautiful place to dance in. I don't want it to be altered and unaccessable to the public.

Saratoga - Health, History & Horses. Let's not forget that the history of Saratoga is why so many people love this city. Not only is the Music Hall the last standing connection to the historic Town Hall Theatre, it is a gem of a dance and performing arts space.

This is the only local place we have to go swing dancing that isn't during a Broadway street event. Please, reconsider your decision. I'm sure there are other convenient spots available for purchase and/or renovation that aren't helping preserve the culture and art that make Saratoga the beauty it is.

Music, not more offices!

Saratoga is a city that is FUELED by our history. If we expect home and commercial building owners to preserve and protect our historical structures we should have the same expectation for our elected officials. History will show that this proposed renovation is myopic and detrimental to our city well being.

I've been to countless Diamond Dances here and I cannot imagine a more perfect space for people of all ages, dance styles, and experience to come together. If every building that wasn't "historical" enough was destroyed, where would the historical buildings of tomorrow come from?

I have been attending Diamond Dances ever since I was first introduced to swing dance eight years ago. I have met many amazing people, gained an appreciation for the music of local bands, and been able to share my love of dance with friends and strangers alike. To see Saratoga lose this dance hall would be seeing Saratoga lose a small part of its culture. I dearly hope that we can holds on to it.

My daughter has been attending the Diamond Dances hosted by Saratoga Savoy for the past year. What a great, safe way for a teen to spend an evening with friends! Please keep the Saratoga Music Hall as it is!! There is nothing else like it for teens in the area
