Theatre arts is an invaulable experience for young people who gain confidence, collaboration skills and connection to the their community who attend their performances. What a shame that anyone would consider abolishing something that brings students and their community together.

I became a teacher because of the Mt.Hope theatre/music department. Please do not eliminate any arts in BWRSD.

This past year has been incredibly taxing both figuratively and financially. I understand that cuts will be made but it was the arts that got us through this year. Please do not cut this program!

As a music educator, I feel the arts are a vital part of development and should always be available in any education system. This would be devastating to children and teens to have their creative outlet taken away from them. We need to foster creativity for this generation of students and future generations.

The arts are essential! If you're not prepared to invest in the arts for our young people now, you better stop watching TV and movies. You should never go to a live show again. No more audiobooks for you. Nothing that requires performance art of any kind. You consume theatre every day without even knowing it. It is essential.

A healthy childhood needs more than just sports. The arts are a vital lifeblood for every community. Without avenues to learn how to express our creativity, we end up living a bland, colorless existence.
