This program provides all its students a safe and unique setting to study theater and helps students grow as individuals.

The choral and theater department are the only reason I kept coming to school at Mt Hope. Please, for the sake of the future of our town, do NOT get rid of the theater program!!!

If this past year has taught us anything the arts are so important for the mental well being of all. As an alum of Mt Hope the theatre program was such a saving grace. I learned so much and formed so many bonds. Don’t alienate and disavow so many students who need the outlet that the theatre program brings.

This is an amazing program for kids to showcase a different side of their personality. The school shouldn't be solely based on athletic sports.

You have to keep the theater department. So many lives have been shaped and changed because of this program. I could not act but never felt once left out and made memories and friends i’ll cherish for years after graduating!!

This is a program so many of my friends were a part of. They lived an breathed masqueraders. Do not take that from our future kids and leaders.

Humans create art for a reason. It helps us appreciate beauty, build creativity, helps us learn to better understand and cope with human experiences, builds empathy, and assists with self-expression. For young people, theatre can help immensely with emotional development and understanding, as well as feeling a sense of belonging and inclusion with others who understand them. It would be extremely detrimental to those students to cut the theatre department.

I got my confidence from being in the drama club at the “former” Bristol High School. Post graduation, I've attended many productions at the school as well. I also sang in the chorus and sang at my graduation. THIS IS SO WRONG!!! Imagine the wrath if you took away dangerous sports - like football. The town would go ballistic. You should be ashamed of yourselves. The arts are important to many students/adults.
