Save the Middle Haddam School

I went to this beautiful school and believe in the restoration of it.

Need to save this beautiful building- there must be something the town could use it for

I grew up in Middle Haddam, and always wished that something more could or would have been done with the Middle Haddam School. I'd hate for such a wonderful piece of town history to be done away with. There are so many potentially amazing things that could be done with the building. Please save the Middle Haddam School!

This was a wonderful school. So many memories for first grade through sixth. It is a beautiful location with so many possibilities.

So many memories in my short 3 years.... just can't imagine over 80 years all together. Boy, that would be an amazing reunion! Please save this property in it entirety.

Preservation of historic structures is an important part of remaining educated about our past. Retrofitting old buildings to new uses has a long and successful track record of doing both. Buildings from that era were more solidly constructed and still have more years to serve us. This building needs to be similarly saved and reused.

This historical building should not be destroyed, but be refurbished and used to serve the community.

This school is where my memories began. It was set back, peaceful, and I always remember all of the windows! This building was magical for me, please find a positive use for it.
