I attended the Middle Haddam School - grades 1-4. I can still remember walking through those doors - going upstairs to classrooms or downstairs to the gymnasium, cafeteria or the nurses office.

It would be a shame to not repurpose this building and let it live on and long
It is a great fit for the neighborhood, and.would make a great town building.

I went to school in this building in the 1970s. As a builder now, I know the old practices of construction were far better than most to day. That building has full masonry walls not like the brick veneer buildings today. the bones of that building could last forever.

It was a beautiful town school for 50 years and it should be readapted for future town use such as a senior and community center

As a former selectman I would urge the present council to seriously consider purchasing the MH School for municipal use

This building has stood vacant for far too long! I would love to see it utilized once again; it's potential is endless. What is needed in the Cobalt, Middle Haddam, Haddam Neck area? Start there and move forward. Fingers crossed!
