I am a Middltown Senior Citizen who loves to visit the new senior center to attend its many programs. As I sign this petition I think that the Middle Haddam School would bea great fit as an East Hampton Senior Center

I have fond memories of this beautiful school in Middle Haddam. As an artist who painted the site.please do not destroy this handsome 1930s building. Adaptive reuse is the trend today.

As East Hampton's Town Historian I fully support the preservation and re-use of the Middle Haddam School. It has been a great asset to our town for many years and could serve our community again. We are rapidly losing our built heritage and once it is gone, it is gone forever. It would be a terrible shame to destroy this historic treasure. Please save it!

Please save the Middle Haddam School. It is a beautiful building with so much history. Really I would love to see it be a working school once again but I realize that is not going to happen. The building must have some other purpose.

I attended Middle Haddam School from 1968-70. I remember well Mr. Burdick, the Principal, and Mrs. Blue, the cook. It was a very special place then and could be again. Please rehabilitate it for the Town!

I went to school there too and have often wondered why the town did not buy and renovate for public use. Given, our space issues, we clearly need more resources like it. Besides, you don't abandon your town's history!
